Dream World Adventures testimonials, when it comes to our service, we let our clients do the talking!

From my first experience of Kilimanjaro & Zanzibar in 1993, I have been fortunate to have made many client’s dream of climbing Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, a reality. It was also not difficult for me to fall in love with the rich culture, friendly locals and breathtaking beaches found on Zanzibar. I still cannot get enough pleasure in sharing this amazing tropical Island, Zanzibar Island with all my valued clients.
It is because of all my wonderful clients that I’m able to share these words with you now.
I hope that you enjoy reading about, and looking at the wonderful pictures that we gratefully received from past clients, half as much as I have receiving them.
Look forward to also including you in our hall of fame when you become one of our highly valued clients.

Niren Maharaj group climbed Kilimanjaro on the Marangu route in January 2018

Thank you Rose for arranging an unforgettable trip for us. You were brilliant in everything. Thanks to Nechi and the amazing team we had to get us through the 6 days at Kilimanjaro. We would not have gotten far without their guidance and constant support. Mum and Dad got to 5500m, Nadine to Gilman’s Point and Erashen and I were thrilled to get to Uhuru Peak. We are so happy to have done this together as a family as we celebrated my Dad. We are super proud of our achievement and our adventure and memories will be cherished forever. Thanks again for everything ❤️.

Vicky Huang, Natalia Wu and Chris Lin climbed Kilimanjaro on the Marangu route in November 2017

Earlier this month Vicky Huang, Natalia Wu and Chris Lin in the expert care of Dickson Mbuya and his team, climbed Kilimanjaro via a 6-day Marangu Route.
On Friday night 01st December at 23h30 they began their ascent to Uhuru Peak.
Vicky & Chris were satisfied in reaching Gilman’s Point on the crater rim, while Natalia pushed on to the summit.
Congratulations to all and may memories of your Kilimanjaro adventure forever be with you!

The hotel was so laid back and suited our idea of a holiday, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. All your arrangements were done exceptionally! Thank you for making Ruan’s 21st very special.
We enjoyed it so much and will recommend it to our friends.
Thank you again for all the help in choosing the correct option for us.”

Julian Hans, a valued return guest, gathered a group of friends together and this time stayed at Dream of Zanzibar.

Mohamed Kharva group climbed Kilimanjaro on the Machame route in September 2017

Mohamed Kharva gathered a group of his cousins and a friend for this bucket list adventure which had been his burning desire for some time already.
Led by guide Stanley Masumbuko, the team climbed via a 6-day Machame Route. Unfortunately Yusuf Bemath struggled with illness and wisely turned back at Baranco Camp (3 900m). Yusuf, the mountain is waiting for you should you wish to return another time – your commitment, in itself, is commendable!
The remaining 5 members persevered onwards and upwards and stood on the summit in glorious weather on Sun 10th September…
Hearty congratulations to Mohamed Kharva, Mahmood Moosagie, Rafeeq Moosagie, Shaheed Moosagie and Taha Kathrada on a job well done!!
May memories of your adventure strengthen you in every challenge you encounter going forward 🙂

Walton and Allison Fransman stayed at Dream of Zanzibar on Zanzibar in September 2017

“Hi Rose
Just a quick email to thank you for assisting my husband with arranging such an awesome trip!
On arrival at the Dream of Zanzibar, we were told that we’d been selected to be upgraded to an absolutely beautiful beachside villa. Thank you also for arranging the birthday surprise, loved the singing from the staff and the birthday cake. Totally awesome!
Our overall stay was perfect and exceeded all expectations, the tours and shuttle services were well organised and our trip was hassle free, from departure to arrival back at OR Tambo.

Gert Van Zyl and friends climbed Kilimanjaro on the Machame route in September 2017

Planning and preparing for a Kilimanjaro adventure takes time as friends Gert van Zyl, Chris van der Walt & Elani Kruger can attest to, but their departure date arrived at last and the months of preparation were not in vain because on Fri 08th September they reached Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa!
Well done team on your fine achievement!! With determination and perseverance, you realized you dream of standing on top of Africa, congratulations!!! 🙂
Guide Frank Kizito and his crew supported the team who chose a 7-day Machame Route up the mountain, but who felt so strong after summit that they rushed down to the relative comforts of civilization on the same day??

Ayanda Boltina climbed Kilimanjaro on the Marangu route in September 2017

California native Roseanney Lui and Ayanda Boltina from Johannesburg formed part of a larger team who climbed via a 6-day Marangu Route.
Led by head guide Frank Kizito and his crew, they attempted the summit on Thu 05th Oct.
The altitude sadly turned Roseanney back before Gilman’s Point (5 681m), but knowing what she knows now, I am sure the mountain will be waiting patiently to feel her footfall once again…
Ayanda carried the SA flag proudly to the summit – a very BIG congratulations!!
May the memories made on your Kilimanjaro adventure stay with you always 🙂 and thank you for choosing Dream World Adventures!

Thokozile Mahlangu Crescentia stayed at Dream of Zanzibar on Zanzibar in September 2017

“Good morning Rose!
We would like to thank you for the service you provided to us.
It is my pleasure to report back on our trip to Dream of Zanzibar. Our stay was 5* from the airport to the hotel, we were treated like real Queens.
Our stay was remarkable, the food, the service from the staff at the hotel was super.
We had different activities lined up for each day, day 1 was the visit to Stone Town, the Shuttle services were always on time. Our tour guide took us through the land marks in Stone Town, he also helped us changing our money into shillings.
We were able to buy ourselves the Ankara’s and spices from the market. Afternoon we had our sunset cruise with other tourists. It was fun fun fun!!

The next day we had a Safari Blue tour, where we met other tourists from around the world. On our boat(Dhow) we met friends from Rustenburg and Holland and we had a good time.
Those who were not afraid of the waters went snorkeling others were busy making memories. The food on the island was prepared into perfection and meeting other tourists from other boats was an eye opener.
We also met other South Africans and took some photos with them.
I’ll definitely recommend Dream World Adventures’ services to anyone who wants to explore the world!!
Thanks again!!
Looking forward to our next trip!!!
Kind regards
Thokozile Mahlangu & Other Divas”

Kirstie du Toit stayed at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort and Spa Zanzibar in March 2017

“Dear Rose
We had such a wonderful time in Zanzibar, we almost did not come back!
Neptune Pwani was absolutely beautiful, flowers everywhere and everyone was so friendly.
What a spread they put out at meals. Nobody can complain about that they cannot find anything to eat..and so delicious, could eat fruit there all day.
They have entertainment every night and it changes as well so never the same thing.
From start to finish everything at the hotel was superb and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Once again the staff are just so friendly and happy and greet you every time, from the housekeeping staff to the gardeners.

The spice tour was brilliant, my husband was asked to ask me to marry him again and the one tour guide that works on the farm had made me a ring and bracelet 🙂 It is truly eye-opening to see first hand how and where our spices come from.
Thank you for making this trip so wonderful, it will surely be an anniversary we will never forget. Your service is top-notch and I would recommend you to all my friends and family and anyone I come across.
Please also thank the transport company that you guys use for their friendliness.
Thank you thank you!
Kirstie du Toit”

Melanie and Julize stayed at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach Club on Zanzibar in June 2015

“Hi Dawie,
We really want to thank you sincerely for your excellent service. It is not something we experience often these days! You went out of your way to assist us and made planning this holiday completely worry free!!
You responded to my queries that I e-mailed you immediately with a phone call and a comprehensive e-mail with feedback (and there were many smile emoticon and certain things I probably asked more than twice!!).
The phone call on the day before we left for Zanzibar just put the cherry on top to prove the excellent service you provide!! We will recommend you without doubt to anyone who wants to visit Zanzibar!
Our stay at Mapenzi was awesome!! Even though we didn’t take a seafront room our room was perfectly located for us and we wouldn’t have traded it for a seafront room!

The staff is really simply the best! They are always friendly, very helpful and the service is really in a class of its own! It’s a stunning hotel!!
The dinner at the pool the one night with entertainment and the one on the beach surpassed our expectations. They went through so much effort with decorations and extra special food on these evenings – truly fantastic!
We took over 3000 photos on our trip, that’s how beautiful Zanzibar is!
We only made use of the beach boys (locals) for our tours and we are so glad we did! They actually have in intricate business structure which nobody realizes. They are educated people and I saw most people brushing them off and giving them the cold shoulder when they were approached by them on the beach which is sad. Zanzibar is a very poor country and these people really go the extra mile with regards to your tours. We got to know a lot of the local people and became friends with them (especially Iddy (Eddie), with whom we arranged all our tours and Abdi).
Our tours were all fantastic and for each tour Eddie (he works with Verimark) had a guide which specializes in that area, for instance someone to show you the best snorkelling! We saw the entire island and did all tours with exception of the spice tour as that doesn’t fascinate us). But we went to Kizimkazi, The Rock, Jozani, Mangrove Forest, Kendwa, Nungwi, Slave Caves, Mnemba (twice for snorkelling), Stonetown, Prison Island, The Blue Safari etc. Unfortunately we had to skip Timbathu due to the weather on that day. Due to our tailor made tours we wanted we had a driver and guide all to ourselves each time (with exception of 2 tours) and we could dictate where we wanted to go and how long we wanted to stay at each location. If we wanted to change our tour whilst in the midst of it, it was also no problem. We learned so much about the culture and awesome people that we just had to buy their CD with the song “Jambo” on it – they sing it to you on every tour and is just a nice and upbeat song that will always remind you of Zanzibar!!
The 2 highlights would have to be that we got to swim with dolphins and sea turtles!!! Both our dreams came true!!! Thanks to all who made this a memorable holiday!!!

Attached are some photos smile emoticon (I’ll have to send 2 more mails with photos!)

Melanie & Julize”

Fiona Katergarakis stayed at Azanzi Beach Hotel Zanzibar in September 2011

“Dear Dawie,
We had a wonderful holiday! The best! Azanzi Hotel was stunning, we loved our rooms, we loved the location – right on the beach, we loved that there were only a handful of beach boys, we loved the loungers right on the beach itself, the cocktails were great, the food was great, the staff were great.
The vibe at the hotel was fantastic, there was a mixed bunch of guest plus quite a few South Africans and we all got on so well. All in all a wonderful and memorable holiday.
Thank-you so much for organising it all for us. Especially the visas – we whizzed through customs while the rest of the guys on the plane had to stand in queues to get theirs!

This allowed us to get to our hotel even sooner. Everything went smoothly, from being collected at the airport, to check-in, to a demo on the services the tour operators offered and (sadly) to being driven back to the airport a week later.
We managed to do a few things, it was quite hard to get up off our loungers! We did the Snorkelling Safari at Mnemba Atoll twice, and were extremely lucky to swim with dolphins during the first tour. Mnemba Atoll is beautiful, the waters are so warm and pretty.
The Spice Tour was a laugh, and the Stone Town tour an eye-opener. Our guide took us to a lovely hotel, Seyyida Hotel & Spa for lunch. They had a restaurant at the top of the building, so we sat outside with gorgeous views of the sea and Stonetown.
We also hired scooters from one of the beach boys and took a ride up the beach to go sight see the other hotels. Perhaps I am biased, but I really do believe that our stretch of beach was perfect! Miles and miles of sand, beautiful turquoise waters, interesting things to see like cows walking past, the locals on their bikes etc.
I never expected to enjoy my holiday THIS much! I am already harassing my husband to go back again next year! And I will definitely ask you to organise everything for us again.
Kind regards

Eunice Goossens stayed at Azanzi Beach Hotel on Zanzibar in August 2011

“Hi Dawie,

Groete Goossens Groep”
